Confirmation of Wendy B. Vitter as District Judge for the Eastern District of Louisiana
The United States Senate has confirmed Wendy B. Vitter to be a United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Louisiana. On behalf of the entire court family, we welcome her to our court.

Circuit Selection of Bankruptcy Judge – Eastern District of Louisiana
The United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals has announced the selection of Meredith Sue Grabill to the position of Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of Louisiana subject to the completion of a standard background check.  Ms. Grabill would begin her term on September 9, 2019 and she is currently with the New Orleans office of Lugenbuhl, Wheaton, Peck, Rankin, and Hubbard.
